Are you going to sell me ChatGPT licenses? +
No. I don't sell software, and I take no referral fees from any vendor. I help you use what you have, or pick what fits your team.
I keep hearing about agents. Why foundation first? +
Because agents on bad data are an expensive way to fail in public. Every agent demo you see runs on a curated dataset. Your business doesn't have one yet. We build it. Then the agents actually work.
What if our team isn't technical? +
Most aren't. The tools I build are for the team you have, not the team consultants imagine. Plain interfaces. Plain language. If your team can't use it without me, I haven't finished the job.
Do you write custom software? +
When I need to. But most engagements don't require it. We start with the tools you already pay for and only add custom code when the gap is too wide for no-code.
How long does a typical engagement take? +
Build Session: 90 minutes. Foundation Audit: 2 weeks. Sprint: 4–8 weeks. Fractional: 3-month minimum. The real answer: the smallest engagement that solves the problem.
Can you train my team? +
Yes — but training without a working system is a waste. I ship the workflow first, then teach the team on the actual tool.
What's your background? +
Two decades of operating. Kitchen-oil recycling, organic farming, and the manufacturing company I co-founded and still run. I built the AI and automation tooling that runs my own operation.
Are you in Minnesota? +
Based in Minnesota, with a satellite presence in Connecticut. Most engagements run async with periodic on-site days. Travel is included in flat-rate scopes.
Do you work outside manufacturing? +
Yes, if the problem fits. The foundation-first approach applies to any owner-operated business where knowledge lives in too few heads and data lives in too many places.
Are you a solo operator? +
Yes. I do the work personally. No junior associates, no offshore researchers, no subcontractors.
How do I know what to start with? +
If you're not sure, start with the $249 Build Session. Ninety minutes, one shipped automation, and an honest read on whether deeper work makes sense.
Why is pricing on the website? +
Because hiding prices wastes your time and mine. Transparency is a competitive advantage.
Do you offer discounts? +
No. The prices are fair and the work is good. If the budget doesn't fit, the Build Session is the lowest-commitment way to start.
What if the scope changes mid-engagement? +
We write a new scope document and agree on it before the work changes. No surprise bills. Everything in writing.
